ABOUT THE FOUNDER

With over 20 years of experience as an educator, Monique James-Lyle devotes her time developing strong student leaders by cultivating learning environments where all students can excel and thrive. Committed to helping provide students with opportunities, development, and resources for success, she Founded Anchored In.

As an educator in both the elementary and senior panel, Monique is devoted to providing opportunities, development and learning for all students, motivating them to excel in their education with confidence and support while encouraging them to become positive agents of change.

Currently, Monique teaches at the secondary school level in Co-Operative Education. She is actively involved in coordinating educational activities and extracurricular opportunities for students and fellow staff members. With an emphasis on Wellness, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, she focuses on providing student development opportunities, helping them plan for future success.
